About Jeremy
My name is Jeremy and I am half Ecuadorian with 7 years of secondary school learning experience regarding Spanish as well as lessons in my Latino household. I plan on studying Spanish at UVA and officially become a fluent speaker with a Spanish speaking degree. My dream is to travel through Latin America and learn about the diverse cultures and traditions each country has.

This class is for beginners and novice speakers of Spanish. My teaching is built off the principle that I am here for my students and education should be taken at a challenging pace with an endurable workload that is suited for each student. The lesson plan will include basic teachings on spelling and pronunciation as well as the structure of basic Spanish sentences. Short story practice will be given twice a week and read aloud to progress reading and speaking skills. Upon mastery of said lessons, a test will be administered of a basic conversation with practiced vocabulary and notes given at the end to help understand what mistakes were made and why. Students will be expected to write a short story of 50-100 words every week with practiced vocabulary as a completion grade, but assessed with notes.
