About Edward
A tutor’s job should be to supplement knowledge or teachings given by primary educators. The benefit of a private tutor is that crucial one-on-one time that allows a student to be open and honest as often as they want about where they stand on a certain question or subject. An important concept for me that aids in learning math is problem-solving. I’m never one to give answers to students because in that way they don’t learn. Learning how to work through problems is not just crucial in math, but an important real life skill as well. Being able to work through a problem you’re stuck on through an analytical lens can help you tackle any problem without the help of any educator, and that’s a level of understanding I hope to provide to any student I’m able to help.

I’m first and foremost extremely patient. Many students have very different goals, and for a private tutor it’s important that there exists the personalization aspect of teaching that leads to the tapping into of more of the student’s potential.
