About Layla
Dance has shaped my life, and I love helping others discover that same passion. As a Joffrey Ballet School graduate with years of teaching experience, I strive to create classes that are encouraging, challenging, and enjoyable. I believe every dancer learns differently, so I tailor my teaching to each student’s goals while building strong technique, confidence, and a genuine love for movement. My goal is for every student to leave class feeling accomplished and excited to keep growing.

I have an extensive background and education in dance, that can allow for them to deeply understand why we do certain things.
I am also a professional dancer and choreographer around NYC. As a student it is great to have an educator who is currently in the professional space because they are always gaining new knowledge and networking opportunities.
