¡Hola! I’m Jamie, a professional rugby player and experienced tutor with over five years of teaching experience in Spanish and Maths. I achieved an A in Spanish A level* and graduated from the University of Bristol with a degree in Economics and Spanish, where I also spent time living and studying in Spain. My teaching methodology focuses on creating a structured, goal-oriented plan tailored to each student’s needs. I start by assessing your current level, learning style, and objectives - whether that’s improving grammar, boosting confidence in speaking, or preparing for exams. Lessons are interactive and practical, combining conversation, listening exercises, and cultural insights to help you speak naturally and confidently. A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, though I can adapt to 30- or 90-minute sessions depending on your goals and schedule. I’ve worked with students aged 11 to adult learners, from beginners looking to build foundations to advanced students aiming for top exam grades or fluency for travel and work. My aim is to make Spanish enjoyable and effective - helping you not only learn the language but also connect with the culture behind it.
