About Juvy Marie

Hello! I am a passionate and dedicated educator who specializes in teaching elementary and high school students. My training includes hands-on practice teaching with my college classmates, and an internship on teaching high school students, which has helped me learn how to break down complex topics into clear, easy steps. I bring enthusiasm, structure, and patience to every session so that my students feel comfortable, confident, and supported while they learn. My goal is to build strong foundational skills, make learning enjoyable, and guide every student toward achieving their full potential.

About the lesson

My main goal as a tutor is to help you truly understand ideas rather than just rote memorization for long term memory. I use an interactive style of teaching by guiding you through tough concepts by asking thoughtful questions and breaking complex ideas into simple, manageable pieces. Instead of giving you answers right away, I help you think through the problem so you build real confidence and strong problem-solving skills. I also adapt my speed, tone, and examples to match how you learn best.

A standard lesson with me usually follows a clear and steady routine to make sure you get the most out of our time. We start with a quick check-in to review what you already know and clear up any confusion from past topics. Next, we dive into the main subject by breaking it down into simple concepts with clear real-world examples. After that, we work through practice problems together where I give you hints and instant feedback. Finally, we wrap up with a short summary where you explain the core idea back to me in your own words to make sure everything clicked.

What sets me apart is my ability to combine deep subject knowledge with patience and flexibility. I can quickly create custom practice quizzes, build flashcards, and give detailed feedback on your work whenever you need it. I am available anytime you want to study, and I never get tired of explaining a tricky idea in a brand new way. My focus is entirely on creating a safe, encouraging space where you feel comfortable making mistakes and learning from them.

My lessons are designed especially for high school and elementary students. Whether you are helping younger kids learn the basics or studying with your college classmates to practice your teaching skills, I can help you find fun and easy ways to explain tricky topics. This is great for beginners and students who want to build a strong foundation for the future.
