Michael is an excellent instructor. Not only is he skilled in multiple instruments including the bass guitar, he is knowledgeable, patient, and able to communicate complex ideas in beginner terms. He also takes the time to learn the favorite music genres of the student and adapt the lessons accordingly. I highly recommend Michael as a music teacher.

It’s clear that he really loves teaching and wants his students to know how good it feels to learn an instrument and use it as a way to express yourself. Mike is a very knowledgeable and astute guitarist and teacher. Every time Mike has taught me something he makes it understandable and does not complicate it. He worked with me until I understood what I was playing. He's a very thorough and well-balanced teacher and player.
