About Olivia
Hello! My name is Olivia, and I am a business professional, and experienced tutor who is passionate about helping students build confidence and achieve their academic goals.
I hold a Master's in Marketing and have experience teaching high school students in a variety of subjects. My background includes education, public affairs, content creation, and aviation, which allows me to connect real-world experiences to the concepts I teach.
As a tutor, I believe every student learns differently. I strive to create a supportive, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing their skills. Whether you need help understanding challenging concepts, improving your writing, preparing for exams, or building confidence in the classroom, I will tailor each lesson to your individual needs and learning style.
I am reliable, patient, and committed to helping my students succeed. My goal is not only to improve grades but also to help students develop the confidence and problem-solving skills that will serve them long after our lessons are over.

My style of teaching is hands-on. For example, a typical teaching session in creative or descriptive writing begins with a game, followed by 10-15 minutes of instruction time and the balance of the session is hands-on practice, real time for me to help guide you into specific areas for improvement.
Math would be the same way. I believe you learn by doing and practice.
