我拥有 IT 背景，因此习惯以逻辑和结构化的方式思考问题，也擅长分析情况、找出关键点，并提出实际的解决方案。对我而言，辩论不只是表达立场，更是一种学习如何思考、判断和解决问题的过程。
不过，我的课堂并不会非常严肃。作为一名辩论教练，我喜欢运用日常生活中的例子来解释复杂的概念，让学生发现辩论其实与他们的生活非常接近。我也喜欢开玩笑、与学生互动，并营造轻松自在的学习氛围。
我希望自己不只是站在台上传授技巧的教练，也能成为一位愿意倾听、能够理解学生，并和他们打成一片的引导者。在轻松的课堂中，我会鼓励学生勇敢表达、独立思考，并逐渐建立属于自己的观点与自信。

I come from an IT background, which has trained me to think logically, approach problems in a structured way, identify key issues, and develop practical solutions. To me, debate is not only about defending a position; it is also a way of learning how to think, make sound judgments, and solve problems.
However, my classes are far from overly serious. As a debate coach, I enjoy using relatable, everyday examples to explain complex ideas and help students see how debate connects with real life. I also enjoy making jokes, interacting with students, and creating a relaxed and enjoyable learning environment.
I hope to be more than a coach who simply teaches techniques. I aim to be an approachable mentor who listens to students, understands their perspectives, and connects with them. Through a supportive and engaging classroom, I encourage students to speak confidently, think independently, and develop ideas of their own.

As a debate coach, I teach more than just debating techniques. I help students develop the broader skills and knowledge that meaningful debate requires:
* **Critical thinking**: Analyzing issues, identifying logical flaws, and examining questions from different perspectives.
* **Communication**: Presenting ideas clearly, logically, and persuasively.
* **Confidence**: Developing the courage to speak publicly, respond under pressure, and defend one’s position.
* **Empathy**: Understanding different viewpoints, listening carefully, and responding to the genuine concerns of others.
* **Philosophical thinking**: Exploring questions of values, principles, justice, and human choices.
* **General knowledge**: Building a broad, interdisciplinary foundation that strengthens both the depth and scope of one’s thinking.
* **Economics**: Understanding resource allocation, trade-offs, competing interests, and the economic reasoning behind public policies.
* **Current affairs**: Keeping up with social and international developments and turning real-world issues into thoughtful discussions.
Through debate, I hope students will learn not only how to win an argument, but also how to think independently, communicate clearly, and understand others.
