About Jacob
I have been learning about engineering related topics for 8 years. I received a 4 on the AP Calculus AB and BC exam. I have held 2 internships for the past 2 years in the optical engineering field. I have also been able to get through college, while providing for myself, at one point passing 3 upper-level classes and working 2 jobs at the same time to make ends meet.

Hello, I am Jacob, and I am going to be graduating from the University of Central Florida with a degree in Photonic Engineering and Sciences. I can teach most mathematics and sciences, including calculus, trigonometry, physics, chemistry, quantum physics, basic electronics, optics, and engineering. I can even teach music if needed (8 years playing saxophone).
My teaching process is one of analysis and diagnosis. I will work with the student to determine what it is they are not understanding, going deep into what we are studying to find the root cause for any confusion or mistakes they may make. I try to teach the way I think of solving a problem, and will explain my reasoning through every step.
My lessons are targeted for high schoolers to freshman/sophomores in college, but I can be flexible if need be.
