About Sarah
Hi! I’m a passionate Spanish tutor who truly loves the language and culture. I’ve lived in Colombia, where I became fluent and experienced firsthand what it takes to speak Spanish confidently. My goal is to help you not just study Spanish, but actually speak it well. I’m patient, kind, and easy to work with—but I also bring structure and the right tools to help you improve. Whether you're a beginner or looking to level up your skills, I’ll meet you where you are and guide you every step of the way.

My Teaching Method & Techniques:
I take a personalized, practical approach to teaching Spanish. I focus on real-life communication, combining conversation practice, grammar support, listening exercises, and vocabulary development. I believe in learning through context and immersion—even for beginners—so students can build natural fluency and cultural understanding. I also give consistent, helpful feedback so students can grow with confidence.
What a Typical Lesson Looks Like:
Each lesson is structured but flexible. We usually start with a quick warm-up or review, followed by a focused topic (like grammar, vocabulary, or listening), and finish with conversation practice or a short cultural activity. I always adapt the lesson to your goals, whether you’re studying for a test, preparing for travel, or trying to improve your speaking skills.
What Sets Me Apart as a Tutor:
I’m fluent in Spanish, have lived and taught in Bogotá, Colombia, and truly love helping others learn. I’ve worked with college students, beginners, and advanced learners, and I’m passionate about making Spanish both accessible and enjoyable. I’m also a strong communicator—I give clear explanations and feedback that’s supportive and motivating.
Who I Teach:
I work with high school and college students, adult learners, and professionals at all levels—beginner to advanced. Whether you need help with a Spanish class, want to become conversational, or just love the language, I’ll create a lesson plan that fits your level, interests, and goals.
