About Priyanka
Hi! I'm Priyanka. I’m a tutor with a genuine passion for both teaching and learning. I've always loved the Humanities, not just because I enjoyed studying them at school and university, but because I believe they help us better understand the world and think critically about it.
If you ask anyone who knows me, they'll tell you I'm a bit of a history nerd.
I know that subjects like History, English, Legal Studies, and Society and Culture can sometimes feel overwhelming or difficult to connect with. That's why I wanted to become a tutor; to offer a more personal, engaging approach that makes these subjects easier to understand and, hopefully, more enjoyable to learn.
I'm friendly, easygoing, and believe the best learning happens when students feel comfortable asking questions without fear of getting something wrong. Every student is different, so I take the time to understand how each individual learns best and tailor my lessons to suit their needs, goals, and pace.
Above all, I believe every student deserves to be treated with patience, respect, and genuine care. Whether you're aiming for top marks, building confidence, or simply trying to get through a challenging subject, I'm committed to creating a supportive environment where you can grow, improve, and enjoy the learning process.

Online Humanities Tutor | Years 9–12 | Personalized, Engaging & Results-Focused
Learning shouldn't feel like memorizing endless facts—it should be engaging, interactive, and build genuine confidence. My goal is to make Humanities subjects enjoyable while helping students develop the critical thinking and writing skills needed to excel in assessments and exams.
Every student learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to suit their individual needs, goals, and learning style. Whether you're aiming to improve your confidence, boost your grades, or achieve top HSC results, lessons are designed around you.
My Teaching Approach
My tutoring combines structured learning with a relaxed and supportive environment. I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable asking questions and actively participating, so I focus on creating lessons that are both productive and enjoyable.
Lessons typically include:
- Breaking down complex concepts into clear, easy-to-understand explanations.
- Developing strong essay-writing, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Working through syllabus content using practical examples and discussion.
- Building effective study habits and exam strategies.
Regular feedback and personalized resources to reinforce learning between lessons.
As lessons are conducted online, I make full use of collaborative documents, visual resources, and interactive activities to keep students engaged and ensure learning remains dynamic rather than lecture-based.
Lesson Length
Lessons run for approximately 75 minutes, allowing enough time to thoroughly cover content, practice key skills, and answer questions without students feeling rushed.
