About Joie
Hello! I’m Joie, an experienced elementary teacher who is passionate about helping children develop their English skills and confidence. I believe that every learner has the ability to improve when given the right guidance, encouragement, and learning environment. In my lessons, I use engaging, age-appropriate, and learner-centered activities to make English enjoyable and meaningful. I am patient, approachable, and committed to understanding each learner’s needs and learning pace. Whether your child needs support in reading, writing, speaking, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, or comprehension, I will provide clear explanations, guided practice, and constructive feedback to help them progress. My goal is to create a comfortable and positive learning experience where students feel confident to participate, ask questions, make mistakes, and keep learning.

As an elementary English teacher, I use a learner-centered, interactive, and supportive approach that makes English simple, enjoyable, and meaningful for children. I use age-appropriate techniques such as storytelling, conversations, games, picture-based activities, reading exercises, vocabulary building, guided practice, and simple writing tasks to develop learners’ reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, pronunciation, and comprehension skills. A typical lesson begins with a short warm-up or review, followed by the introduction of the lesson objective and a clear explanation of the new skill. We then practice together through guided activities before the learner completes an independent task, followed by a short review and feedback. What sets me apart is my patience, creativity, and ability to adapt lessons to each learner’s level, pace, interests, and specific needs. My lessons are primarily designed for elementary learners from Grades 1–6, including beginners and students who need additional support or want to strengthen their English skills and confidence.
