About Elias

Since I graduated from high school, I regularly teach Latin to my students. I am from Rome and now I am looking for students in this city too! I am waiting for the national competition to become a teacher. Over time, I tried to refine my technique more and more in order to effectively convey notions and concepts from time to time in the field. With my teaching, in fact, I try to make Latin current and understandable, trying to highlight the traits of continuity that it preserves with languages and contemporary culture.

Over time, I tried to refine my technique more and more in order to effectively convey notions and concepts from time to time in the field. In teaching, in fact, I try to make visible the mechanisms that underlie Latin, notably by refining the student's ability to translate by teaching him the value of understanding the text above all else. My lessons are direct and precise, but without being harsh or too heavy, because I believe that this makes the transmission of the concepts more difficult. For me, teaching is actually having the ability to involve and arouse the student's interest in the subject studied!
