About Valentina
I’m passionate about helping students not only improve their academic performance but also grow in confidence and curiosity. With a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from NYU and years of tutoring experience—both online and in-person—I bring patience, clarity, and structure to every lesson. I’ve worked as an Engineering Peer Tutor at NYU, supporting students in mastering complex topics, and I’ll soon begin my PhD at the University of Cambridge. My goal is to create a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel motivated and capable of reaching their full potential.

I take a student-centered approach, adapting each lesson to fit individual learning styles. I focus on clarity, engagement, and building confidence through step-by-step problem solving. Lessons typically last 60 minutes. I teach Math and Physics to students aged 10–17, from foundational to advanced levels. I hold a Mechanical Engineering degree from NYU, where I also worked as an Engineering Peer Tutor, and I have experience tutoring students online in both academic subjects and test preparation.
