About Julia
I have a degree in political science and journalism and a major in international relations. I have known English since I was born because I lived my first years of life in London. Back in Spain, I studied up to the age of 16 in a bilingual middle school. I have already had several experiences as an English teacher with children aged between 4 and 16.

For lessons with younger children I like to use songs, poems, nursery rhymes, cards etc. Instead for older students I always try to explain things in English directly, I do not believe in translation as a method to teach languages and I like to use cards with vocabulary and grammar material. I also use readings and images (to practice speaking skills by learning how to describe them). I believe that the most effective way to learn a language is by trying to TALK and specially by LISTENING.
