About Bridget
My name is Bridget Jaja and I am an Information Technology graduate with a genuine love for teaching and cultural preservation. Growing up speaking Igbo, I developed a deep appreciation for the language and a strong desire to pass it on to the younger generation.
I have gained informal teaching experience working with children in my family and community, which has shaped me into a patient, warm, and encouraging tutor. I understand that every child learns differently, and I take pride in adapting my style to suit each learner.
Teaching is not just a job for me, it is a way of giving back, preserving culture, and empowering young minds to be proud of who they are.

About the lesson

My lessons are fun, interactive, and tailored for primary school children (ages 6–11), lasting 45–60 minutes per session online.
For Igbo Language, I build spoken confidence first, then introduce reading and writing using relatable cultural examples.
For Social Studies, I use storytelling and real-life scenarios to help children understand their community and environment.
As an IT graduate with informal teaching experience, I adjust my approach to each child's pace, ensuring they grow confident, curious, and proud of their heritage.
