About Kayla

From performer to teacher, I am excited to dedicate my time to teaching and inspiring the next generation of young pianists. I believe every child has the potential to develop a lifelong appreciation for music when guided with patience, encouragement, and the right foundation.

About the lesson

My lessons are tailored to each student’s individual ability, focusing on developing strong technical foundations through the John Thompson's piano series.
Lessons are typically 30-45 minutes long, depending on the student’s age and level.
As a graduate of a music specialist high school, I studied Music 2 and Music Extension for the HSC, achieving the top band in both. I have achieved my AMusA and LTCL diplomas in piano, having 3+ years of teaching experience.
I primarily teach beginner level piano students, particularly children who are starting their musical journey. Whether your child is learning piano for the first time or looking to strengthen their existing skills, I aim to provide a supportive learning environment where they can progress at their own pace.
