About Ethan
I have had a passion for teaching for as long as I have had the privilege to do so. I pride myself and being able to tailor my teaching style to the student and work with them where they are at and how they best learn things. This is why I try and find many different ways to explain the same concept in my teaching. I also pride myself and teaching life lessons that will be applicable to many parts of their life and not just music. Some of these lessons include but are not limited to the value of hard work, discipline, and facing adversity.

I spent 3 years in undergrad studying music education before I made the switch to go to medical school. My performance resume includes holding positions such as the lead trumpet ofGrammy nominated UWEC Jazz Ensemble 1, member of the wind symphony, founder of a brass quintet, member of the bluglold marching band, and lead trumpet of the Kids from Wisconsin Tour, as well as performing a numerous theater productions. My teaching résumé includes completing most of the curriculum associated with a music education degree, doing freelance sectional coaching, and working as a private teacher.
