About Sawyer

Hi there, My name is Sawyer Smith. I am a professional writer who has an undergraduate degree in English Literature, a certificate in Creative Writing, and years of experience helping people of all ages and reading levels better understand creative and academic texts. I understand that some examples of classic literature can be very intimidating, especially for readers who have never been exposed to older writing styles, but I believe with the right tools, everyone can learn to digest these texts, and maybe even learn to love them one day. I am also an accomplished academic and creative writer with a passion for helping people put their thoughts and opinions down on paper (without relying on AI to do it for them).

About the lesson

As a tutor, I am trained in helping students interpret and analyze academic and creative texts. I strive to help everyone find a love (or at least a respect) for literature, as well as develop their skills to express themselves and their opinions through writing.

A typical lesson with me would include any combination of the following:
- Beginner, intermediate, or advanced English grammar/vocabulary work
- Literary Analysis Work
- Writing exercises
- Essay Editing (I will read over your essays before you turn them in, help you make them better, as well as confirm that they are 100% original and therefore will not get tagged as being an AI creation.)
- Mini Book Reports (Graded by me)
- Test Preparation (for Middle/High School English courses, SATs, College Literature courses)
- Homework catered specifically to your needs
