My Approach to Tutoring and Teaching
I use a student-centered approach, adapting lessons to each learner’s needs, level, and pace. I focus on building confidence, a clear understanding, and independent thinking in a supportive environment.
Techniques and Teaching Methodology
I combine explicit teaching with guided and independent practice. Lessons include clear explanations, modeling, questioning, and short interactive tasks. I use scaffolding, simple visuals, and real-life examples to support understanding, along with regular feedback and quick assessments to track progress.
Typical Length of a Lesson
60 minutes, with flexibility based on the student’s needs.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s in English Literature (CGPA 3.75) and Master’s in English Literature and Cultural Studies (CGPA 3.94).
1.5 years of experience as a school teacher, with experience in lesson planning, assessment, and supporting diverse learners.
Target Students
Primary and lower secondary students, especially those needing support in English, literacy, reading, and writing. I work well with young learners and students who need to build confidence and foundational skills.
