About Cris
Graduated in Art History from the University of Santiago de Compostela, I have been teaching in academies and in school support for 5 years. Throughout my student career I have discovered that memorizing does not work. What is only memorized and released in an exam is not only forgotten but also demotivating, making one not curious to go beyond the agenda they give us. For this reason, I work subjects out of curiosity, promoting motivation for what is studied. Because if! You can learn in a fun way! Everyone would say that the 2000 movie Los Angeles de Charlie 2 is very bad but it turns out that you see it and in one of the key scenes one of these superheroines says "If the density of the object is less than the substance in which it is immersed, it floats! ” And there we have it, you already know the Archimedean Principle and you hadn't noticed! Through art and culture (cinema, series, music, painting ...) valuable information is transmitted many times and can be learned in a fun way! If they have to study this principle and the first thing I do is put this sequence and then pose a problem in the form of an unknown / mission to be solved, making the student search the information in different sources, they will be 100% involved in the subject and the learning will be organic. In addition to, as I have already said, encourage your curious part.
