About Lurre

Hello! I'm Lucia, a graduated Biology Professor. With a passion for nature and life, I've dedicated myself to studying biology and later specializing as a professor to be able to share all the knowledge and interest with people of all ages. I've been tutoring ever since I finished high school as I've always loved teaching and later worked as a teacher in different high schools with teenagers from 13 to 17 years old. In my 6-year bachelor's degree, I've had a wide range of science subjects such as math, physics, and chemistry as a base to study biology, that's why I've been teaching all these subjects too with absolutely no problem. I always work preparing the class based on what each individual student needs, working with patience and empathy and trying to figure out as a team what methods work better for each student and how to reach their goals.

About the lesson

I've been tutoring through private lessons since I was 18 years old to people of all ages, from kids in primary school that needed help with a wide variety of subjects to adults starting at uni that were struggling with some subject's contents. I help with virtual lessons where I adjust the class based on the material the student has been provided by the teacher or the educational institution and student's interest. The length of the class depends on what we have to work for, but for some people lessons of one hour work better and in some other cases I go up to an hour and a half. We can use Google Meet or any way of communication that allows us to base on different materials, such as books, videos and boards to interact.
