About My Lessons
Learning science should be engaging, practical, and meaningful. As a graduate of Bachelor of Secondary Education major in General Science with 18 years of teaching experience, I have had the privilege of helping students develop not only academic excellence but also confidence in learning. I am currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Teaching Chemistry, which allows me to continuously improve my knowledge and teaching practices.
My teaching approach is learner-centered, interactive, and tailored to each student's needs. I simplify complex scientific concepts using real-life examples, visual aids, guided discussions, and inquiry-based activities that encourage critical thinking rather than rote memorization. I believe that every student learns differently, so I adapt my strategies to match individual learning styles and pace.
A typical lesson begins with a short review of prior knowledge, followed by a clear explanation of the new topic. I use examples, illustrations, and guided practice before allowing students to solve problems independently. Throughout the lesson, I provide constructive feedback, answer questions patiently, and assess understanding through quick exercises or discussions to ensure learning objectives are achieved.
What sets me apart is my extensive classroom experience, strong foundation in science education, and genuine passion for helping students succeed. My years in teaching have equipped me with effective classroom management skills, patience, and the ability to explain difficult concepts in simple, understandable ways. I strive to create a positive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence.
My lessons are suitable for elementary, junior high school, senior high school, and college students who need support in General Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Earth Science, and Environmental Science. Whether you are preparing for quizzes, examinations, entrance tests, or simply want to strengthen your understanding of science, I am committed to helping you achieve your academic goals through personalized and engaging instruction.
