About Karen
I studied Social-Humanistic Baccalaureate. I am a graduate in Early Childhood Education from the University of Barcelona. Native level of Spanish and Catalan and C2 of English. I have been a total of six years since 2014, working as an English teacher in a private language center. In addition, outside of it I also give private and group classes; both online (due to the covid19) with the appropriate technological resources, and in person at home. The ages of my students range from 3 years to adults of any age. Regarding the levels I teach, they range from preschool and / or basic to FCE (passing through A1, A1 +, B1, B1 + and B2).

Mainly my methodology is based on the specific and general needs of the students. Taking into account above all the level in which the person is. A language is not just speaking, writing, or understanding it, but all together. In my classes all aspects of written comprehension and oral comprehension are given equal importance. We will work on grammar, vocabulary, reading and writing. But also conversation, pronunciation and active listening. The resources may be technological or physical depending on the needs and characteristics of the student. In the case of online mode, we will use video applications and online material (ebook, pdf, videos, images, audios, etc.). In the case of face-to-face or at home, the same contents will be given but with the physical use of books or dossiers, etc.
