About Nicole
Hey there! I'm Nicole, and I've been tutoring folks for over five years! I'm passionate about supporting individuals over hurdles so they can continue toward success. When I work with students, I try to make their experience fun, informative, and productive so they leave our session feeling empowered. I enjoy collaborating with students on how to utilize their creativity toward any given project, assignment, or essay. I find pulling on a student's creativity helps to improve the student's experience, which ultimately improves the student's results!

I approach teaching in an individualized manner because I understand that everyone learns in their own unique way! This may include utilizing visuals, watching a video or recording the session for the student to look back on, or following up the lesson with a write-up of what we worked on.
Typically, I assess where the student is struggling and create a tailored plan for their specific needs. I usually include upcoming projects or assignments so that each session is as productive as possible.
I enjoy working with a wide range of individuals from middle school all the way to undergraduates! I also have ample experience working with folks who identify as neurodivergent, LGBTQIA+, and non-native English speakers!
