About Badrulzzaman

Muhammad Badrulzzaman Abu is a Malaysian visual artist and Fine Art lecturer with over seven years of experience in the Malaysian art scene. His artistic practice primarily focuses on painting, with a particular interest in landscape and contemporary approaches to exploring nature, environment, identity, and personal experience. He received his early art education at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Seri Iskandar, Perak, before pursuing his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Fine Art at UiTM Shah Alam, completed in 2018 and 2019 respectively. Throughout his career, Badrulzzaman has been actively involved in art education and artistic practice. His teaching experience includes working with autism students, SPM candidates, and higher education students. He is currently a Fine Art Lecturer at the College of Creative Arts, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Seri Iskandar, Perak, where he is involved in teaching, creative practice, exhibitions, and academic activities. As an artist, Badrulzzaman continues to develop his painting practice through the exploration of landscapes and contemporary visual language. His works often transform observations of the natural environment into expressive visual experiences, combining personal interpretation with experimentation in colour, form, texture, and painting techniques. Alongside his academic career, he remains actively engaged in exhibitions, collaborative art projects, workshops, and creative programmes, contributing to the development of contemporary art and art education in Malaysia.

About the lesson

My syllabus are tailored to individual needs, going in depth on foundation topics such as color, space, form, shape and etcetera. In my class you will learn basic method and technique and develop your own skill as you go using acrylics, watercolor or oil paints.
