About Tapan

I’m a U.S.-trained Gastroenterologist, originally from India, with over 15 years of clinical and academic experience. A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, I currently serve as Professor and Head of the Department of Gastroenterology at a U.S. medical school. Having successfully navigated the transition from international medical education to the U.S. system, I specialize in mentoring foreign medical graduates for the USMLE. With a 100% success track record coaching students from India, Asia, and South America, I understand the exact mindset shifts, knowledge gaps, and strategies needed to excel. About the lesson

I’ve been in your shoes, trained in India, graduated from the University of Pittsburgh, and now serve as Professor & Head of Gastroenterology. With 15+ years of clinical and academic experience in the U.S., I’ve helped every single student I’ve coached—from India, Asia, and South America—pass the USMLE with high scores.
