About Alice
I have been tutoring for the past 10 years in a variety of subjects, from Biology to Latin and French. I have taught young children and adults and received positive feedback. My professional experience of working in the banking, consulting and legal sectors in London means I am aware of high-level business terms.
I have taught 5 students for their GCSEs and school exams, and I achieve good results (with improvements of at least one grade point). I have also tutored over 40 Japanese students to improve their speaking confidence in English.

I approach classes on a discussion basis and aim to encourage students to make up their own mind on more abstract topics. I have a rigorous approach to grammar but do not follow the traditional memorisation/ repetition method. I aim to follow the student's interests and develop their intellectual curiosity rather than drill specific knowledge.
