About Herlene

I am a dedicated and passionate English tutor committed to helping students improve their communication skills and achieve their learning goals. As a graduate of Mindanao State University and a TEFL-certified tutor, I provide professional, personalized, and engaging lessons tailored to each student’s needs. I believe that learning should be comfortable, encouraging, and enjoyable. With patience, clear explanations, and supportive guidance, I help students build confidence, develop their English skills, and become more effective communicators.

About the lesson

As a tutor, I create a friendly, supportive, and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and expressing themselves. I use a student-centered approach with interactive discussions, practical examples, guided exercises, and personalized feedback. A typical lesson begins with a short review, followed by introducing the new topic, practicing through activities, and ending with a brief assessment or recap. What sets me apart is my patience, adaptability, and commitment to helping each student build confidence and achieve their learning goals. My lessons are suitable for beginners, intermediate learners, university students, and anyone who wants to improve their English communication, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and conversational skills.
