About Tamara
I love English and love to work with students to achieve their full potential. Nothing gives me more satisfaction than being able to help my students understand key ideas in a text and relate those ideas to the world we live in. I also love to see growth in my students' writing from working with me and taking on board my advice and feedback.

I am a qualified Head Teacher of English with over 10 years teaching experience. I believe that explicit feedback and modeling is the best way to help my students improve their English skills. I have consistently helped students achieve in the top two bands in Advanced English, Standard English and Extension English. I have previously marked the HSC and worked in a large faculty where collaborative marking allows for a deep understanding of what students need to do in order to achieve well in Senior English in NSW.
