About Lucia
My name is Lucia Zamora and I graduated from UTRGV with a bachelor's in Chemistry and a 4.0 GPA. I have six years of tutoring experience which includes both General Chemistry and Anatomy and Physiology. Throughout those years, I've tutored more than 400 college-aged students. I have developed the skills necessary to be an effective facilitator of learning. Additionally, I know numerous mnemonics and other studying methods. I am passionate about learning and helping others to the best of my abilities.

Throughout my experience as a tutor, I have learned the key to being an effective communicator and guide. My goal is for students to perform better in challenging courses. I am empathetic, understanding, and patient. I take accountability and recognize if I make a mistake. My typical lesson plan begins with questions, examples, and reviews. My passion and care for students' success set me apart as a tutor. I will go the extra mile to help them by looking for additional resources or sharing learning tools that helped me in my classes.
