About Rose
I am 18 years old and the oldest of three children. I got my first job at 15 and have lived in Melbourne all my life. I discovered my interest in criminology in Year 9 and have never looked back. I am currently pursuing my dream of becoming a detective — we can talk more about that if you’re interested! I love being around people, but especially when I can add value to their lives. As the child of immigrants, I place great importance on gratitude and embracing life’s blessings. You got a bad attitude on education? Don’t worry it’s going to get better!

The first class is focused on getting to know you as a student and me as a teacher, helping to reduce any fear or anxiety. This allows the child to feel more comfortable and willing to talk to me, as they will see that I am not intimidating at all. All of my classes include short, brain-stimulating activities that provide a calming period for the student while also helping me plan the next lesson. I am flexible with lesson plans—while I will always prepare material, if the student has specific work they would like assistance with, we can focus on that instead. I am also open to online classes, as I understand parents get tired too. Just let me know what works best for you.
