About Paul

I am Paul Russell Lancry, a student with dual French and American nationality. English is my mother tongue and French my father language. I graduated in France in May 2021 in physics (master's degree). In September, I start a double master's degree in aerospace engineering with the Turin Polytechnic. I speak and understand Italian without any problems, but I speak it with a French accent!

I have already taken great pleasure in teaching languages and sciences in France during my career, and I hope to be able to help you with it

I accompanied two French students in difficulty in high school in my career, in mathematics and physics. Then, for two years, I worked as an assistant professor of English at the University in France to help students at the bachelor's level.

About the lesson

I can work with all levels and all profiles, both for the language lessons (English and / or French), and for the mathematics / physics lessons.

The lesson is always structured in awareness of your needs. Therefore, I always ask upstream of the lesson, the purpose of the course in order to prepare me with regard to the teaching material and the structure of the lesson.

However, for language lessons, I recommend giving the same importance to the oral part and the written part. Generally, I have the student work on both the oral and the written part during a one-hour lesson, and I prepare a new lexicon sheet upstream.

For students preparing a CAE or TOEIC type certificate, the lessons are based on exams.

For physics / mathematics lessons, the lesson is always prepared upstream on the thematic deals. The lesson begins with a verification of the understanding of the theory and ends with exercises.

For students who need scholastic help, I propose to work on the weak points of understanding of the lessons given in school and to return to head calm the exercises and exams done at school.
