About Leidy
I am from Colombia and graduated from La Salle University. I'm currently teaching in the USA as an ESL teacher. I love to teach languages, especially English and Spanish. I have around 10 years of experience in the educational field, teaching all the grade levels from children to adults. I love to interact with my students, use different dynamics in my class, and have fun while teaching. I live with my husband and my daughter. I love to spend time with them, I love to do exercise and to dance.

Learning should be fun and interactive. So, I use different teaching methods, including discussions, activities, and multimedia resources, to keep students engaged and motivated. I also try to know the students' weaknesses and strengths first to know what to start working on to help them build their confidence and self-esteem when learning a second language.
