I have been taking lessons with Paty for over a year now. We first met through my grandmother, who also takes lessons. Paty is an excellent speaking partner, and our lessons together have greatly improved my ability to understand spoken Spanish, as well as my own capacity to produce spoken Spanish.
The homework Paty gives is challenging but not overwhelming, and she has never shirked away from pushing my limits to help me improve. We have covered grammar, culture, vocabulary, as well as projects in which I would produce my own original thoughts about a subject in Spanish. Next year I will be taking AP Spanish at my High School, in thanks to her excellent tutelage.
I would recommend her highly for her commitment, consistency, and genuinely caring and friendly personality, which has made me never not want to come to class.

I took lessons from Paty for 3 years. She is an excellent teacher who I recommend highly. She is very organized and comprehensive in her knowledge of Spanish and English. She sends articles and stories in Spanish for homework which furthered my understanding of Spanish culture. Her Zoom screen is excellent enabling us to see each other and the homework simultaneously. Paty is always available for questions. She is very supportive and has a good sense of humor. We referred our grandson for lessons which he loved and enabled him to take AP Spanish in school.

Paty has been my Spanish teacher for a while and I think she is fabulous! She has been able to move my Spanish ability from near Beginner to Advanced Intermediate in a relatively short time. What's great about her teaching is I am totally conversational not just in "tourist" Spanish, but I can have much more in-depth conversations with Spanish speakers about nearly any topic, at a pretty advanced depth.
My classes with Paty are super fun and engaging. In the beginning of our study together she would prepare comprehensive lessons to support my conversation, grammar, and reading abilities using very relevant and interesting materials, and now we spend most of our time discussing world events, history, politics, music, health, etc., etc., and our time together flies by.
I recommended Paty to a neighbor friend of mine who has advanced as much as I have and who raves about Paty as much as I do. Paty has a degree in language acquisition and is currently working on her Masters's in Special Education, and she is a Professional Teacher in Mexico's private education system.
