About David
I want to inspire other people to love Maths as much as I do. I believe Maths describes life, the universe and everything, it isn't invented it's discovered and applies to every level of life. Almost nothing happens without maths being involved somewhere. That's where my interest in Physics came from, Physics uses maths to describe physical processes. I find maths exciting and exhilarating and I teach with great passion.

My approach hinges around the fact that Maths is a description of things we all do without realising it. Once you see the role it plays it's surprising how it suddenly starts to make sense and a student's confidence begins to develop. I know from painful experience that you learn maths by making mistakes doing it, this is where many people lose confidence and think they can't understand it. I'm told that I'm very good at explaining. I worked teaching adults at evening classes to GCSE level, and I've taught A level and GCSE maths privately. I'm happy to teach all ages. I can teach day or night, in person or online.
