About Claire

I’ve graduated from a teaching credential program. Last year, I taught 64 middle schoolers how to succeed in math. I am patient and willing to learn how each student learns best. I especially love Algebra and finding ways to solve the puzzles involved in math. I specialize in creating safe spaces for students to thrive and giving students the tools to solve problems on their own. I show an example, which we solve together, and then have the student and I practice together until they are comfortable to solve those problems alone.

About the lesson

I love math and my passion is helping others see how fun math can be, too! I’m young enough to understand different teaching methods, and we can figure out how you learn best — together! I was taught equitable teaching methods and how to connect with students to help any type of learner succeed.
