About Maddie
Hi my name is Maddie and I’m hoping I will be able to help some of you out!
I have a passion for reading, writing and achieving good results. Studying law has taught me how to be strict in my studies but also how to engage with others and keep things joyous throughout grueling three-hour university lectures.
I am more than happy to take on high school students who may need assistance with English or any year 11 or 12 legal studies students who are hoping to study law.
I think I have always considered myself as a bit of a second teacher to my friends. I enjoy teaching others and of course I am patient so please do not stress if the improvement isn’t as sudden as you may have expected it to be. Learning takes time, especially if you want to get it right :)

My lessons will be adapted to the students level of skill. It is important to Identify the areas of weakness, but also strengths. English isn’t always easy, but in my experience finding my strengths and having them acknowledged is a form of motivation that will assist when it is time to correct the weaknesses.
Essay writing is incredible in the way that if you can learn to identify your point and find any link or form of evidence to support this, you can make any argument (with the right phrasing of course) a valid one.
As a law student I have found that hand written studying is the best way to commit information to memory and solidify knowledge in both English and legal fields. Any student of mine will be memorising and explaining their ideas with good old fashioned pen and paper.
As a side note, I also understand how difficult money can be so please only pay what you can and I will help as best as I can :)
