About Akriti

I am currently a final-year Bachelor of Arts student majoring in Sociology and Psychology. My approach to education is rooted in my own academic journey, where I consistently maintain high standards and a deep engagement with my subjects. Having spent three years mastering these disciplines, I understand exactly where students struggle and how to bridge those gaps.

Trust is built on clear communication. Beyond the classroom, I am a debater and creative writer. Winning first-place awards in debate and poetry has taught me the art of breaking down complex ideas into persuasive, easy-to-understand language. I don’t just teach you "what" to learn; I teach you how to articulate your thoughts—a skill that is vital for scoring high in Humanities board exams and entrance tests like CUET.

I treat every session as a professional commitment. For me, tutoring is not just a side job; it is a responsibility toward your future. When you join my classes, you can expect:
Punctuality: Respect for your time and a consistent schedule.
Preparation: Each lesson is backed by structured notes and digital visual aids.
Accountability: I track your progress and provide honest, constructive feedback to ensure you are meeting your goals.

My goal is to empower students with the same passion I have for the social sciences. Whether you are aiming for top marks in your Board Exams or preparing for a competitive University Entrance (CUET), I am here to provide the structure, the knowledge, and the confidence you need to succeed.

About the lesson

1. Teaching Techniques & Methods
My method moves away from rote memorization. Since I specialize in Sociology and Psychology, I focus on "Applied Learning." I use my digital tablet as a virtual whiteboard to map out complex theories, social structures, and psychological frameworks in real-time.
Visual Mapping: I draw flowcharts and diagrams to explain connections between concepts.
Real-World Examples: I link Sociological theories to current events and Psychological concepts to everyday human behavior to make them relatable.
Bilingual Support: I am comfortable explaining concepts in both English and Hindi to ensure the student fully grasps the core idea.
2. The Structure of a Class
Each 60-minute session is designed for maximum retention:
The Recap (5-10 mins): We start by reviewing the previous session's key takeaways.
The Core Lesson (35-40 mins): We dive into the new topic using the digital whiteboard. This is interactive—I encourage questions throughout.
The Summary & PDF (10 mins): We summarize the lesson. I then convert our whiteboard notes into a high-quality PDF and send it to the student immediately for their revision.
3. Special Features as a Teacher
Digital-First Experience: Because I use a tablet, students get neat, color-coded notes rather than messy chalkboard handwriting.
Communication Expert: With a background in competitive debating and poetry, I help students improve their answer-writing skills and academic vocabulary.
CUET/Board Prep: I provide specific tips on how to tackle MCQ patterns and long-form descriptive answers.
4. Intended Audience
My classes are specifically designed for:
Class 11 & 12 (CBSE/State Boards): Students looking to score 90+ in Psychology and Sociology.
CUET Aspirants: Those preparing for university entrance exams in the Humanities stream.
BA Juniors: College students who need help understanding foundational sociological and psychological theories.
