About Pau
I am a PhD graduate from the University of Edinburgh and mathematical researcher, but in my free time I enjoy teaching my native language, Spanish. I have given in-person lessons to high-school students when I was living in Germany, and to my girlfriend over the last year or so. In superprof, I have given some online maths and physics lessons, so online teaching is not a problem for me.

Much like my teaching style for maths and physics, I like to focus on adding conceptual clarity to the subject. In the case of grammar, this means that I like to present the rules clearly and concisely, but more importantly that I want you to understand what are they adding to the language.
Although I personally enjoy learning grammar and how it can help add precision and clarity, I think that ultimately languages need to be learnt by using them. So, a good part of the focus tends to be making the student try to use the language both passively and actively.
