About Basma
As a teacher I believe that students require more one-to-one teaching to ensure that they thoroughly understand the curriculum, so that through hard work, they can confidently achieve their full potential. In my profession I am familiar and confident in using various teaching techniques including teacher lead explanations, multiple choice questions and also longer answer questions. All of these techniques and others hold equal weight in ensuring students have in-depth understanding.

My approach to teaching is to go through the topic in depth followed by answering different styles of questions to test understanding. I can then guide the student on what they should continue and areas for development. As a professional teacher I am able to cater to the needs and learning styles of a range of individuals.
The length of the lesson would be 1 to 2 hours, depending on what suits the tutee.
I am a qualified and professional secondary school teacher - teaching biology and chemistry at a Grammar school currently.
I am able to teach a wide range of age groups: KS3, GCSE and A level.
