About Joshua
After earning a degree in Graphic Design and building a successful career in the commercial design industry over the past five years, I’m now beginning to mentor aspiring young creatives. My own journey into design began unexpectedly at 17, when I entered and won a design competition. Encouraged by a family friend to pursue it further, I went on to study the subject at university, which sparked a lasting passion for visual communication and the creative industry. I firmly believe that many young people, when given the right guidance and encouragement, have the potential to thrive in this dynamic and rewarding field. My goal is to help nurture that talent, provide practical skills and industry insight, and inspire the confidence needed to pursue a future in design.

I provide one-on-one tutoring tailored to Art or Design students of all levels up to A-level. With hands-on industry experience, I go beyond theory to teach real-world design skills, from mastering Adobe Creative Suite to developing a strong visual identity, understanding design principles, and responding to live briefs. My sessions will be engaging, practical, and adapted to each student’s goals and learning style. For parents, this is a valuable way to support your child’s interest in design with structured, skills-based learning. For students, it’s a chance to develop a strong foundation in graphic design, gain practical insight into the industry, and build work you can be proud of, whether for school, university applications, or your personal portfolio.
