I am passionate about art and experienced in teaching it.
- developed and taught a 2D/3D art course at BCIT.
- created and conducted drawing workshops at public schools and libraries in Vancouver, Burnaby, and Richmond.
- have over 15 years of creating art for video games, including concept drawing, 3D modeling, and animation.
- wrote and illustrated 2 children's picture books.
- created comic strips to educate the public about complex policies at SFU's the Morris J. Wosk Centre for Dialogue.

I have a hands-on approach. I encourage student participation and questions.
I tailor my lessons according to the student's backgrounds and interests.
A typical lesson starts with me demonstrating techniques with easy-to-understand explanations of theories. Then the student will follow and try to duplicate my demonstrations. After they achieve the basics, I encourage them to explore and experiment.
My students include elementary school-aged students, post-secondary students in their 20s, working artists, and anyone who wants to improve their drawing skills.
