Over 16 years experience in teaching all the above subjects. Also, I have been an IT trainer since 2001 and also TAP accredited.

- Do you have an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service, formerly CRB) Certificate?

I have a recent CRB disclosure certificate.

Classically-trained at the Royal Academy of Music (1985-1989)

All my current students are improving in their confidence in Maths and Science continually and they are never disappointed!

About the lesson

Hello, I consider myself to be a lively, fun and professional tutor who has had considerable experience (over 16 years) in tutoring. I am fully CRB checked and have good testimonials.

- Which subject(s) do you teach?

Maths - Further, Mechanics, Statistics and Decision (up to A2 Level), Music (GCSE), Chemistry (up to A2 Level), Physics (up to A2 Level), ICT (up to A2 Level) and Computer Science (up to A2 Level), Piano (up to Grade 5 ABRSM), Music Theory (up to Grade 5) Please note that ICT and Computer Science are NOT the same subject.

- Tell me about your qualifications.

A level music and studied music as a Junior in a conservatoire, Degree (B. Eng (Hons)) in Integrated Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical and Electronic, Chemical and Manufacturing). Currently studying for a teacher qualification (part-time).

- How much do you charge?

£25 per hour for AS/A2 level (+ travel if applicable)
£23 per hour for GCSE/iGCSE level (+ travel if applicable)
£22.50 per hour for KS2/KS3 (+ travel if applicable)
£30 per hour for degree module (+ travel if applicable)
£30 per hour music (Piano/Music Theory - Grades 1-5)

- Where do you teach?

I teach at students' homes. I am willing to travel around a 15 to 20 miles radius of Staines. Piano/keyboard tuition could be at my home.

- When are you available?

I am available Monday to Thursday during the day (in between school runs!) and some evenings. Also, I am available during the school holidays. Unfortunately, I am not available on weekends.

- Which ages and levels do you teach?

I teach mainly (not exclusively) from Year 4 to Year 13. I am available to teach piano to adults and to children outside this age group.

- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?

GCSE, iGCSE, AS and A2 level, Grades 1-5 (Piano and music theory) and some modules in any degree that contain a considerable amount of maths, physics, chemistry and ICT.

- Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.

I am willing to teach all subjects online. I will use Skype.

- Do you have a personal message for students?

Greg has been working with my daughter for nearly two years, following my decision to home-educate. Greg taught Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Maths IGCSEs. I cannot express how happy I am with Greg's tutoring and methods. Greg was extremely dedicated, reliable, flexible and thorough in his lessons, tailoring each subject to suit my daughter's progress. My daughter has enjoyed all of her lessons with Greg, comfortably learning at a very fast pace at high levels in each subject.
