About Ivy
With more than 5 years of tutoring experience and a BSc in Mathematics with Actuarial Science, I specialize in making discrete mathematics easier for students in technical fields. I teach logic, sets, graph theory, and combinatorics with clear methods. Many of my students study computer science or engineering. They value the link between mathematical structure and programming practice. My lessons include guided reasoning and real-world computational tasks. I explain challenging ideas in simple language. Students learn to identify relationships, patterns, and dependencies. This helps them build stronger algorithmic skills. I also use examples from coding and system design to show real applications. My approach to teaching Maths focuses on efficiency and confidence. I teach mental math techniques that make problem-solving faster and smoother. I help learners understand the reasoning behind each technique. I work especially well with Engineer-in-Training and Data Enthusiast learners who need fast numerical skills for their fields. They receive steady feedback to improve precision. I encourage students to stay relaxed and consistent while building speed. As we progress, they see noticeable improvement. My goal is to make mental math feel natural and useful. With support and practice, you will become quick and confident with numbers.
