About Moiz
Hello! :3
I am an A Level student following the Cambridge curriculum, with an A in Cambridge O Level English and an A in Global Perspectives. I also achieved an A* in English in my school examinations.
I have always enjoyed reading and writing, especially creative writing, stories and poetry. I am also comfortable helping students develop their essay-writing, comprehension and written communication skills.
I can teach English and Cambridge O Level Global Perspectives, and I aim to make lessons comfortable, understandable and tailored to each student's needs.
I am soft-spoken, patient and supportive, but I also believe that consistency matters. I encourage students to revise what we have covered and, when appropriate, explain or recap the previous lesson in their own words. If a student is struggling to remember something, I would first try to understand why and help them work through it rather than simply expecting them to memorise it.
When a student has a question, I like to identify exactly what they are finding difficult. I can then explain that specific point, simplify the concept, use examples, or go through the entire topic again if necessary.
I don't believe that one teaching method works for every student. I adapt my approach according to the student's level, personality and the way they understand things best.
My goal is for students to feel comfortable asking questions and gradually become more confident and independent in their work.

Class Time: 1 hr 30 minutes to 2 hours depending on how and what there is to cover
I teach spelling, creative writing, essay writing, comprehension, direct and indirect writing and whatever else there may be in English. I can teach foreigners how to speak English as well.
Starting a new chapter or in the first class I can ask what they learned in school and what they didn't understand.
As for my teaching, I shall be soft spoken and patient, and strict only when the kid is not paying attention or slacking off, will tell them to revise what we studied and give me a recap of the last lesson themselves, if they are unable to do so, it has to be because they were occupied with another subject or any genuine reason, being lazy isn't a genuine reason.
In cases of questions I'll ask exactly what they don't understand and explain it in simpler terms or the whole thing in as simple terms as they want. I don't have a specific teaching method, it depends on how the kid is and what way they understand.
