About Jacquelyn

I’ve help a lot of my co workers to not just speak spanish but to understand it when they are listening. To understand what type of accent they are listening & to write it. Writing goes a long way, trust me.

And once you can write it, you’ll eventually get the hang of reading it. If I was able to understand reading in spanish at 7 years old with out no one helping, trust me, you can too!

Helping out my coworkers has help them a long way with customers. I work as a clerk of court so the level of Spanish is not for beginners. It’s pretty advance since we are working with the law. Just reading a contract from the court can be complicated in English. Now just imagine in Spanish.

About the lesson

Through out my whole life my parents were very strict with me keeping my native language (of course Spanish)
As I grew up, I realized there were/are many ways to speak Spanish.
There’s different types of accents, tones, & vocabulary. Each country has their own slang & formal way of speaking. Growing up with my Guatemalan parents I’ve learned to speak & write formally but visiting Guatemala, I learned a lot of slang & quotes that have meaning.

Having latino friends from different backgrounds & countries have helped me gain more experience with my vocabulary. As crazy as this may sound, my ethnicityis Guatemalan but throughout my years a lot of people have expressed to my natural accent sounds Columbian. Which I can explain but you would have to hear my voice to know the difference.
