I often find that tuning and maintenance are the most overlooked aspects of guitar playing. We tackle these basics first to ensure your instrument feels right. Then we move into fingerpicking patterns and reading tabs.

Ever wonder why certain chords sound thin or why your rhythm feels off? I hold a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from UBC and bring 13 years of total teaching experience to the room. Working with 169 students has taught me that structure matters for growth. I help returning learners and self-taught players clean up their technique while demystifying music theory.
