About Kristin
Transitioning into a new field feels daunting, so I teach to give you the roadmap I wish I had when starting out. You might be staring at a blank screen wondering how to write your first clean lines, but I have seen hundreds of students move past that exact hesitation. Working with career switchers allows me to see the logic gaps that trip people up early.
My 7 years of experience in the Bay Area taught me that the best way to code is to keep things simple. Dealing with object-oriented programming, C++, data structures, Java, and web development is my daily bread. I focus on making the concepts stick so you stop feeling overwhelmed by syntax. You will find that my approach is grounded in the reality of what modern startups actually require.

This process is how I help you build the habits that lead to reliable software development. I enjoy watching the moment when a difficult algorithm finally clicks for a student after we have refactored it together. It is genuinely satisfying to solve problems together.
