About Beson
If I could tell myself one thing when I started playing guitar, I would say "never stop learning."
My name is Bes and I am a guitarist with nearly a decade of playing experience with over 5 years of gigging under my fingers. Additionally, I completed my first tour this year in the east coast playing lead guitar in an alternative rock act.
Joining this band connected me to my songwriting mentor who has toured and written music with a multitude of high profile bands and artists including Fallout Boy, My Chemical Romance, The Used, and Yellow Card. He acquainted me with several ways to grow as a songwriter and guitarist. Following his advice, my guitar playing and songwriting improved tremendously.
My goal is not to share what I know, but HOW I know so you can make great leaps forward in your guitar journey.

Did you know 90% of first-time guitar players end up quitting within the first 90 days to one year of playing? This is because they don't have a good teacher to help them navigate the initial learning curve.
As a self-taught guitarist, I offer a unique perspective as I teach my students what I wish I had learned so I had progressed faster at any skill level. My lessons are tailored to individual students depending on their interests and skill levels.
- Beginners will focus on rudimentary technique, chords, and rhythm that they will learn from songs they know and love
- Intermediates and advanced players will focus on the skills that will help them reach their guitar goals; can range from picking technique, scales, soloing, improvising, theory, and more.
A typical lesson will last between 30 minutes and an hour.
